So this is your chance to get a very nice bonsai at a very good price. This is an itigawa-kishu shimpaku, i have never been able to nail down wether it is a itigawa or a kishu , my best guess is that it is a cross between the two, just butuiful green growth. I have had it in my collection for over 22 years and it has been wired every year that i have owned it. I have taken great pride in this tree, as you can see by the photo’s it has absolutely fantastic movement and it has detailed refinement down to the smallest limb.
This tree has always had its own stand in my back yard, because it creates such a statement. It has always reminded my of a certain california juniper that is massive up in the white mountains that my wife and i would visited frequently when we were dating. This little tree of mine has always taken me back to that special spot and those wonderful memories with my wife. I know the new owner will get the same kind of gratification out of it. Pot is tokaonme 15 x12 x3 inches, the tree is 20 inches tall from soil line, 20 inches wide, trunk is 3 inches.
