Combined with its rustic appearance that this tree shows makes it a winning combination for any collector. The browning of some of the foliage tips is due to the fact that the tree was recently cleaned with bonsai scissors and an immediate after affect to doing this is that the foliage tips will brown up in some areas. The browning can be easily removed with tweezers or will eventually fall of on their own with time. Complementing the dramatic stature of this majestic tree is an equally impressive and very fine shallow Japanese Tokoname Bonsai pot (13.5×8.6×2.5). Although most of the Japanese pottery bears an incision or mark made by the artist or craftsman, a few makers do not mark the item thereby making the pot itself their signature. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust.
