Complementing the dramatic stature of the majestic trees is a very fine and expensive ceramic Japanese Tokoname bonsai pot (23×16.5×3.75). Although most of the Japanese pottery bears a chop mark made by the artist or craftsman, a few makers do not mark the item thereby making the pot itself their signature. Other than the old “JAPAN” sticker on the bottom of the pot, the piece itself is a “non-kamajirushi” which means non-marked. I must also disclose that the pot does have a small chip on the lip of the container. On a side note. Ive noticed that not too many sellers talk or write about things that should be done after you receive your tree so I will give you my two cents worth. When you receive your tree unpack it carefully. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust.
