When designing a bonsai one of the things I always try to accomplish is to tell a story with the tree that I’m creating. A successful bonsai tree must be more than just a plant in a pot. When I first acquired these two trees it was with the intent of adding them both to an existing Foemina forest, but because of the slightly curved apex on the taller tree and the tree looking good standing on its own or paired up with a smaller tree I decided to make it a Twin Trunk Bonsai tree. Nevertheless, the foemina Juniper also has the perfect foliage and upright growth to be added to a forest planting if desired. Along with the excellent taper that works its way up to the apex, these two trees also have just the right amount of branches to make it appear as a very natural pairing. Combined with the rustic appearance that the bigger tree shows, makes it a winning combination for any collector. Complementing the dramatic stature of the two majestic trees is an equally impressive Japanese Tokoname Bonsai pot (15×12x4). On a side note. Ive noticed that not too many sellers talk or write about things that should be done after you receive your tree so I will give you my two cents worth. When you receive your tree unpack it carefully. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust.
