Big Beautiful Trident Maple Bonsai – Acer Buergeranum. This tree is probably 15 years old or so. In a 17″x4″ training pot. The tree stands 21″ tall from the soil with 3.5″ trunk and 7 base. Its a great tree but needs some additional work to make it excellent. The trunk and base are really nice. There’s a scar that needs to be cut and reworked to remove swelling. Branching is well established. It could use a thread graft in 2 spots. Its a very natural looking bonsai.
