Details – This Japanese Black Pine is a small needle variety. It has flaky bark throughout the trunk and branches. It’s potted in a Isabella pot from Europe. The Japanese Black Pine prefers lots of sunlight. Water when soil appears dry. Its advised to not keep the pine in permanently moist soil or allow to completely dry out. Fertilize once a month, except during winter. Pinching and trimming is required to maintain the size of the tree. Repot every two to three years in spring before buds begin to swell.
