Nebari (Root Spread): Tree has a great base 6. This outstanding Pink Bougainvillea has all the right ingredients in one day becoming a masterpiece. The tree has a beautiful trunk with a textured bark that shows the trees age. The tree also shows a canopy with great developing ramification of a rare soft pink bracts. When the bracts first appear, they will bloom in a vibrant orange color, but then transform into a beautiful and pleasant light pink color. In short, this tree has great potential for an artist that would love to develop and create a beautiful canopy to accompany the dramatic old trunk. Canopy as well as the entire composition is a custom made light blue glazed round bonsai pot that was made specifically for this bougainvillea and its pink bracts. The artist who created this ceramic container is a local ceramist who is also a bonsai artist. One of the traits I love about this pot is the iron oxide that is visible throughout the edges of the light blue pot (11.5x 5). On a side note. Ive noticed that not too many sellers talk or write about things that should be done after you receive your tree so I will give you my two cents worth. When you receive your tree unpack it carefully. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust.
