This little Bougainvillea has a wonderful developing canopy with small leaves, an elegant old, but small trunk, excellent branch placement, and strong developing ramification of the deep Magenta/Purple bracts with small white flowers. The tree is in the processes of dropping its magenta bracts and we always suggest removing the bracts with scissors to encourage new colorful growth. Canopy as well as the entire composition is a Yixing rectangular glazed blue ceramic bonsai pot (8×6x3). On a side note. Ive noticed that not too many sellers talk or write about things that should be done after you receive your tree so I will give you my two cents worth. When you receive your tree unpack it carefully. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust.
