This is a rare pink flowering. Ume well over 65 years old that flowers very strong in late winter early spring, 14″ high, 11 inches wide, with a massive 7″ inch trunk. It is in a 14 plastic pot, but is ready for a nice bonsai pot. I had it in a very nice tusumi custom pot, but my dog knocked it off the bonsai shelf 2 years ago and I have been searching for the appropriate pot for it. It has been pruned, pinched back, wired, fertilized ect at the appropriate times. It was my fathers tree that he brought back when he was in the armed forces. He owned it for over 45 years, winning best of show 2 times in three of the bonsai clubs local to Sacramento, Sacramento bonsai, American bonsai, and bonsai siukikai. This beautiful tree was one of his most prized trees. He left it to me along with entire collection. I have had the tree for 9 years and had hoped to leave it to my daughter someday. I feel confident that the new owner will get the same gratification from this tree that my father and I have.
