Dwarf Shohin Mame Japanese cork oak Bonsai Tree 41 yrs old much like maple slow grow. It is in a plastic training pot, only because I have not found the right pot to honor the tree.. The pot is 9.5×6.75 by 2.75 tall. The tree is 10 inches tall from the soil line, and is 9 inches wide. It has a 2.75 inch trunk at the soil line. Japanese dwarf cork bark’s grows very slowly and takes years to form good movement on. It has been wired, pinched back, trimmed, fertilized and repotted at the appropriate times and is very healthy. This was one of my fathers pride and joy and I inherited it a few years back. I had hopped to pass it along to her some day. See my other great trees.
