Bonsai Japanese olive shohin mame show ready 48yrs A+ , yamadori collected tree, by my father. This little gem is in a stamped tan tokoname pot that is, 8×6 inches by 2.75 inch hight. The tree is 6.25 inches from the soil line and is 6. It has a massive massive trunk that is 4.25 at the soil line, see photos. It was collected (yamadori) by my father over 40 years ago. It was his pride and joy and would show it every year in the american bonsai club here in sacramento ca. It is one of the best shohin mame olives I have ever seen, it truly is a master piece. It is rare to see a collected olive in this size. I have owned it for 7 years and have enjoyed working on it and viewing it. As can be seen the structure is amazing , achieve from decades of wiring, pinching and trimming. It has been repotted, trimmed pinched backh and fertilized at all of the apropiate times. I know the new owner will get the same gratification out of this prize tree that I have.
