The tree was field grown as bonsai stock at Grateful Gardens Nursery of central PA. It is 12-15 years old and was transplanted 4-5 times over its life with root work each time. It was grown in the ground and potted last spring. This little boxwood has a nice form with good branching. It also has a nice, full canopy and is ready for styling and a bonsai pot.
