This pot was made Ikkou. Hes a very long time and famous tokoname Potter. His father and mother were (are) very well known and respected potters. I bought this pot at Meifu Ten, a regional show in Negoya Japan during the month of January. I bought it in 2019 from a vender at the show when I attended. Its got a chip right above one of the feet. I think its a chip but could also be a flaw when it was made. Either way an old make from him, the patina, clay body, and stamp size and style are all from days past. The vender said it was no less than 30 years old. Early works by this Author. Pot size, in inches.
