This pot is an antique chinese, Nakawatari Era, 120-150 year old piece. Its Kinyo (blue glazed) that is the extremely desired and tough to find like this. These old pots the Japanese brought over from China long ago and were well used in the Bonsai community there. In the past 10 years many Chinese buyers have bought back their countries antiques so its quite hard to find a good quality ones left in Japan. Please note these pots are 120-150 years old and may have some small chips around them. This pot does Have some small chips around the feet. See all pics closely and ask me questions if youd like additional pictures. This is truly a beautiful piece. Hard to find and treasured in Bonsai circles around the world. I bought this pot from my Oyagata in February of 2018. Its been in the Kunio Kobayashi collection for over 20 years and was told it was also used in kokufu at least once. Its really hard to find a piece like this for sale on the open market. The condition is excellent for its age and the style. The patina is so nice as well. Stand(s) not included.
