Shimpaku juniper Bonsai, wire trained into a slant/wind swept style in a hand made Kurama moon style pot. This arrangement stands 11 1/4 tall. This is the height of the pot, from the bottom of the pots feet to the top of the pots crest. The trees lower cascading limb, extends approximately 5 1/2 beyond the pots side. This Tree was grown from a cutting, taken 12 years ago and has been wire trained into this shape. The large wires have been removed from the trunk and the others can/will be removed near the end of this summer 2019. It has been styled to match the curve of its pot and developed to have foliage pads. Pinch and grow will be its development path from this stage on. It is recommended that you have some experience or knowledge with this pruning technique, should you be interested in owning this tree. It was repotted spring of 2019, now shows great vigor and future potential. Its planted in a hand made cement based container or Kurama moon style pot, designed for this style planting. The pot has drainage holes, a metal armature and has been sealed and overwinter tested. There are various moss planted in this arrangement. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. It has training wires in place.
