This pot was made by the Yamaaki kiln. A long standing 3 generation kiln that stopped making pots in 2010. There pots are great value for the quality, and its always nice to own a piece of bonsai history as these will never be made again. I visited the kiln, although cold, it still stands in Tokoname prefecture. Its in a state of derelict so it was very cool to see it before its totally gone. This Pot is a beautiful pot, Great shape. But please note on these old yamaaki pots with the windows, the window sills always have some small chips. Keep in mind these pots are 30-50 years old and have been used for decades in japan.
