Serissa Foetida Tree #1. This is a beautiful Serissa Foetida aka Snow Rose, Tree of a Thousand Stars, shohin size. Approximately 15 years old with very nice trunk movement, aged bark and beautiful branching / pads have been established. Has small, shiny, green leaves. The foliage is very dense with small white flowers that bloom much of the year. Bonsai has been kept outdoors from spring till fall. I bring it indoors when temperature drops below 50 degrees. It can also be kept as an indoor plant at a sunny window. Serissa loves bright sunlight. Moist, but allowed to dry out between watering. Tree has been fertilized with organic fertilizer from spring to fall. This is a very healthy tree that is disease and insect free. This tree was repotted in Spring 2018. This tree has been grown in a training pot, and is ready to be planted in a shallow bonsai pot during the next repot. Photos taken on July 21st 2019.
