This pot was made by the legendary Sano Daisuke. He passed away in 2000 and his pots are sought after and treasured all over the world. Really great pots to invest in as the values seemingly increase. This piece I truly love and I still debate possibly keeping it. Because Daisuke pots are quite busy most times in terms of paint. I really appreciate the subtle qualities of this pot. The pot itself was made by his brother, Kono Shinzan, and daisuke Painted the butterfly and signed it. A really neat combo.
