30 year old Kingsville Boxwood Bonsai, Buxus microphylla compacta. This tree was started from a select cutting 30 years ago, grown in-ground for a period, before potting as Bonsai. It now stands 8 3/8 tall, from the bottom of the pots feet to the trees top. This tree has a unique trunk scar that is the result of removing a large branch and scaring the trunk for greater character. Its canopy is just wider than its pot. Planted in an elegant Yixing Zisha Chinese Pot. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. This tree has training wires in place and has been repotted this spring and shows vigorous new growth. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE EXACT ITEM PICTURED.
