The caddy keeps your valuable bonsai wire neat and tidy and is ready to use. The 6 spools each spin independently on a common axle. When the spool is empty, simply open the spool and place a full roll of bonsai wire over the inner flange. Then close the spool and place it back on the axle and you are ready to continue wiring. NOTE: unlike other units.. You do not wind the bonsai wire onto the spool. Tangles and bonsai wire bird nests are a thing of the past. Typically used with rolls of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 & 3.5mm diameter aluminium wire. Each spool accommodates 1kg rolls of bonsai wire. The spools will suit wire rolls with an inside diameter of the order of 115mm to 140mm. The inside diameter of some Chinese bonsai wire rolls are larger and may not be suitable.
