A few years later, there is a noborigama manufacture, A Noborigama chambered climbing kiln is built on a slope, and each succeeding chamber is situated higher than the one before it. The chambers in a noborigama are pierced at intervals with stoking ports. Such climbing kilns have been used in Japan since the 17th century. The works that will emerge will be stamped. Still later, after the acquisition of a coal furnace, for the production of ceramic tiles, it will use the name Saihate no oka. 3 years later he changes the status of the business and it is from this point that the works will receive the seal of ” Yamaaki “. One could say that the seal “Yamaaki” just ensures that products leaving the workshop formerly named “Kataoka, ” have now become the company “Yamaaki”. Otherwise Sadamitsu Kataoka (Son of Akiji – founder of all these companies) is the potter known as Koshousen and Toshio Kataoka (2nd son of Akiji) is the leader of the company Yamaaki. But back to Sadamitsu Kataoka, In Showa 36 (1961), after having graduated from high school in Tokoname from the ceramics section, he joined the SA Yamaaki Yamaaki seitoujo – literally, factory manufactures ceramic Yamaaki. And will study under the supervision of his father. From Showa 60 (1985) he uses the seal “Koshousen ” and still uses it today. In the manufacture of Yamaaki, there are electric ovens and gas ovens most important (bell-shaped) Tokoname, and their use gives an established reputation in firing stabilized products made by hand. Though they manufacture small pots and glazed wares, their main activity is still large clay pots, for which the results of his research in recent years allowed him to copy the grain found in Udei pottery from China and then it was called “Tokoname Udei” – a mixture of earth and Tokoname shisa (purple sandy clay brought from Gikou City in Jiangsu Province in China). Bonsai Tree Masterpiece Juniper by Artist Mauro Stemberger in Tokoname Pot

Bonsai Tree by Artist Mauro Stemberger Prostrata Juniper in Tokoname pot. Height: The height of the tree from the soil line to the top of the apex is 16. Trunk Diameter: The trunk Dia with deadwood, is approximately 4. Canopy: Widest part of canopy is 28 across. He sense of serenity and the feeling of harmony that Mauro Stemberger can bring out in these old small trees, it is very difficult to not love the art of bonsai. Many of the trees that I sell are still a work in progress, but this old collected Prostrata Juniper is a completed tree that is also show ready. It has never been shown anywhere else until today. The tree represents some of the best material that I have to offer. The initial design of the tree was done many years ago by Mauro Stemberger. After Mauro finished a very hard bend of the Apex as well as severally cutting the branches back, the tree was allowed to recuperate so the tree was set aside and allowed to grow out for several years. When Mauro saw the tree the second time he decided to work his Magic on the canopy. The final re-styling as well as the added Shari was created by Mauro on February of 2017. Considering the fact that the tree stands only sixteen inches tall, the character that the trunk as well as the tree shows is very dramatic. In short, I believe that this beautiful and dramatic juniper exemplifies what bonsai should represent. It is a silent poem and a three dimensional drawing of the awesome beauty that we see in nature and which adds serenity to our daily lives. The pot that Mauro chose to use for this beautiful tree is equally impressive. It is an old rectangular Japanese Tokoname ceramic bonsai pot with cloud feet (18×13.5×6). Mauro was born in Italy where he discovered the beautiful art of Bonsai at the young age of 14 years old and with his incredible vision has become one of the top bonsai artists outside of Japan. He has appeared at The Noelanders, Ginko Award, and Bonsai Focus magazine numerous times. Bonsai Tree by Artist Mauro Stemberger Grafted Kishu Shimpaku Juniper in Japanes

Bonsai Tree by Artist Mauro Stemberger Grafted Kishu Shimpaku Juniper in Japanese pot. We realize that the winter chill has already reached many parts of the U. Height: The height of the tree from the soil line to the top of the apex is 20. Trunk Diameter: The trunk Dia with deadwood, is approximately 2. Nebari (Root Spread): Tree shows many exposed Roots 6. As the title states, this tree was created by my friend and Bonsai artist Mauro Stemberger who graciously allowed me to use his name in the sale of this tree. He sense of serenity and the feeling of harmony that Mauro can bring out in these old, but small trees, it is very difficult to not love the art of bonsai. This powerful small giant is a San Jose Juniper that has been grafted with Kishu Shimpaku foliage. The rustic nature of the San Jose Juniper and the delicate, dense green foliage of the kishu shimpaku create a bonsai that expresses the true meaning of the word synergy. Considering the fact that the tree stands only twenty inches tall, the character that the trunk as well as the tree show is a very dramatic one. In a few weeks the canopy should fill in quite nicely as the tree was recently cleaned and shaped by Mauro Stemberger. In my opinion, this bonsai will be show ready this Spring and will be at the top of its class. To help preserve the deadwood and increase the contrast between the live and dead portions of the trunk a bit more lime sulfur was added, which explains the yellowish color of the Jin as well as the Shari. The deadwood has since taken on a bone white color. The pot that Mauro chose to use for this beautiful tree is equally pleasing. It is an oval Japanese ceramic bonsai pot (12.5×10x4) that compliments the tree nicely.
