Here is another great collected Tropical native tree that is perfect for Bonsai material. Because of the trees dramatic deadwood and distinct artistic appearance it is an absolute must for any tropical bonsai collector. With its o ld deeply gouged trunks, it is no surprise that a collected Escambron is becoming one of the most sought after tropical species for bonsai. The leaves can be kept very small and are bright green when young turning to a deep dark green. This tree also produces beautiful small white flowers. A few attributes of this i. Beautiful textured and sinuous trunk, perfect branch placement, and old wood that springs back easily. Complementing the dramatic trunk as well as the entire composition is an oval bonsai training pot (not clay). On a side note. Ive noticed that not too many sellers talk or write about things that should be done after you receive your tree so I will give you my two cents worth. When you receive your tree unpack it carefully. Cut the tape and plastic wrap from the pot and the branches if applicable. Secondly give the tree a good watering and then put the tree in a partially shaded spot for a few days to allow it to adjust. You will realize how reasonable mine are. 14 year old specimen escambron bonsai tree. The pictures don’t do it justice. Designed in the mayogi style. In perfect health, tremendous trunk movement and amazing ramification with a shari. Great tree f0r a beginner to own. Styled over three years ago with a nice jin. This tree has the following specs. It will come in a 12 deep plastic oval bonsai pot. (the pot showing is not for sale). Pictures don’t do it justice. Is a beautiful tree specimen for any bonsai artist. I have won the best in show consecutive years, the joe samuel’s award in three consecutive years for the best bunjin and first place shohin and small tree categories. This is a passion of mine. I will be listing the rest of my bonsai now. These are ones that i simply have been unable to work the last few years due to chronic illness. They need to find another bonsai enthusiast who can work them like they deserve.
