This rough bark variety of Japanese Maple is well established, well-cared for and ready-for-wiring. It is approximately 14″ tall with a 15″ wide canopy and is potted in an 8 round ceramic brown bonsai pot that has a raised dragon motif. It is a single-trunked specimen that was once one half of a double-trunked tree that was split in two. It has been in this pot for several years now and is well rooted; it is wired into the pot and would be stable enough to wire while still in this pot for later repotting into a bonsai pot of your choosing. It is potted in a well draining bonsai mix and can be repotted anytime at your discretion. The top was wired “up” into an informal upright style. Previously wire most was removed this season.
