The Miniature fruit (which grows only to the size of a golf ball) and flowers appear over the course of a year, often at the same time. Calamondin orange trees that are grown indoors may need to be hand-pollinated to bear fruit. The fruit ripens slowly, changing from deep green to bright orange. Indoors you’ll usually see flowers and fruits on the tree at the same time, through out the year. Fruits are about the size of a golf ball, 1-2 in (2.5-5 cm) in size; very sour, they can be used in stir frying, sauces and other cooking, flavoring in baking instead of lemon, or a lemonade like drink Very easy indoor care. This has 2 main purposes; first & most important is to Hold the Tree in the Pot, preventing root damage & to keep it stationary in the box. Second is to retain moisture. Kitchen plastic wrap will work to supplement or replace original plastic wrap, if wrapped around the pot and soil, in the same way it arrived. If necessary plastic wrap can be secured with PACKING Tape, wrapped completely around the pot. All other original packing must be utilized.
