The original owner started it from a cutting in a 4 plastic pot over 25 years ago. He is a gifted student of world renown bonsai master Kathy Shaner. You can see the influence of her sublime taste and technique. I have really enjoyed refining it further. This bonsai has the most impressive twisting trunk and branches while maintaining its classic style. Its small wavy leaves are perfect and can be easily reduced further to fingernail size if you want. Check out the picture of it potted in white and decorated in mini lights on Christmas Eve sitting by the hot tub. It is now potted in a tasteful rust and green glazed container that complements it beautifully. This is a great opportunity to add a truly special shohin ivy specimen bonsai to your collection.
