Special shear for the discerning collector. I have listed for sale a pair of very rare hand made and polished (probably by Maskuni himself or his son) these presentation quality No 101 trim shear. Back in 1980 I took on a dealership here in the US for Masakuni. As time went by Masakuni sent a note with billing that the hand made items of rare presentation quality would not longer be available. They were phasing them out. Here is the last one I have as I have given them as gifts to very important Japanese suppliers here in the Midwest US. This tool is also inlaid damascene style with 24K gold for the Masakuni hallmark. The finish is traditional black polished ferris oxide. It is the traditional #1 shear titled on the original box: 101 Look it up if you’re able.
