This pot is made and painted by Miyazaki Isseki. He is a very famous Japanese pot maker and painter that died in 1984. He’s known as one of the best, he and Yusen. I’ve seen isseki prices nothing but rise over the past 15 years as many of the Japanese actually believe his work paint work to have been the best. Really nice piece and custom box made for it.
