This is an old piece I’ve had for a long time now. It’s antique Chinese, nakawatari era, 120-150 years old. The gold lettering on the bottom indicates it’s from the tagaki collection; one of the most famous bonsai pot collectors that ever lived. He’s long deceased but numbered his pots in either gold or silver lettering. Gold being his favorite over the silver. This is a very eclectic piece. A 1/1 without question. It had a small piece chipped and glued back on one corner. Other than that, great condition. It’s carving is quite spectacular. It’s thick walled and extremely heavy for its size. Pot size, in inche.
