This is a japanese shohin black pine, it is in a tokonme pot. The pot is 5 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches tall, it has a 1.75 inch trunk at the soil line. The tree is is 5.75 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Grown from seed and is 18 years old. Repotted every 3 years, fertilized every 6months, pinched back appropriately and needles trimed to encourage buds on in side limbs. Must have tree for any collector. It has a much larger trunk under the moss but did not want to take the nice growing moss off.
