Dwarf Shohin Mame Japanese cork bark Bonsai Tree 33 yrs old. It is in plastic training pot, only because I never found just the right pot for itt. It is 5 round inches and 2.75 inches tall. The tree is 5.5 inches tall from the soil line, and is 6 inches wide. It has a 1.5 inch trunk at the soil line. Japanese dwarf cork elm grows very slowly and takes years to form good movement on. It has been wired, pinched back, trimmed, fertilized and repotted at the appropriate times and is very healthy. This was one of my fathers pride and joy and I inherited it a few years back. I had hopped to pass it along to her some day. See my other great trees.
