Kb69This is a 9 year old Kingsville Boxwood, grown from a cutting and planted in a group of collected dark Ballast stones and mosses This planting style was influenced by the natural beauty of the Southwest rocky landscapes. Standing 7 3/8 tall, from the bottom of the pots feet to the trees top, the tree shows vigorous spring growth and is planted in an unglazed Japanese pot. The pot It measures 6 wide x 4 1/2 and 1 1/8 from the bottom of the pots feet to its lip. The pot has a chop. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. Raised in the southwestern US, I was exposed to these stone outcroppings where small trees eek out their existence and reflect the story of there lives.
