I love these old antique Chinese pots. Nakawatari era pots generally fall in the 120-150 although the era can range a bit older, but this is when the vast majority of these pots were made. This is a shirocochi, cream glazed antique Chinese pot. It’s got some great patina and aging to it, but it’s had a tough old life too. There is a repair on one foot. Otherwise in great shape for the age. Overall great pot and great value. The size and shape of this pot is excellent for bonsai use. Stand(s) not included. I love these old antique Chinese pots. Nakawatari era pots generally fall in the 120-150 although the era can range a bit older, this is when the vast majority of these pots were made. This is a shirocochi, cream glazed antique Chinese pot. It’s got some great patina and aging to it, but it’s had a tough old life too. There are numerous small chips and some sort of firing split in the bottom of the pot that doesn’t penetrate all the way through. There is also a piece of one foot missing. I often use pots like this for my own trees. These have only gotten more difficult to find… Please see all pictures closely. The size and shape of this pot is excellent for bonsai use.
