San Jose juniper bonsai stock. Height – 10 inch. Canopy width – 8 inch. Diameter – 1 inch. Flare at soil level – 1 1/2 inch. Features – This is a nice field grown San Jose juniper. The San Jose juniper is one of my favorite junipers. The have a unique flaky bark as the tree ages. The tree does not grow upright, however they can be trained to grow in any direction. They are very conducive to jins and sharis to increase the appearance of age. This tree had many branches that were not where I wanted them. I cut them all off and wired the branches that were left. Now we wait for the tree to fill in. In a few years the tree can be placed into a nice pot.
