This is a set of six (6) vintage, hand-forged bonsai pruning and trimming tools. There are three (3) pairs of butterfly-handled shears, one (1) butterfly-handled branch trimmer, one (1) plier-type branch nippers, and one (1) small tweezer-type pruning shears. The plier-type nippers appears to have a maker’s mark on the inside of the handle, but I can’t make it out. This mark is shown in the last 2 photos. None of the other tools appear to be marked. There is no way to know the maker, or the age of this set of tools, but they appear to be old. The tools are in good vintage condition. All open and close smoothly. There is some light rust present, mainly on the blades. They may need a little TLC (lubrication and sharpening) before being used on plants, or could be used for decoration as they are.
