Just imported from japan, a very nice arigi shohin satsuki azalea bonsai. This variety of satsuki azalea is suited very well for shohin bonsai due to it’s small narrow green leaves and medium small flowers. It is 5 inches tall and has a nebari of 2 inches. As you can see from the pictures, it has many branches to choose from to create a one of a kind bonsai. This variety is very strong and is tolerant of cold weather.
In the summer, it prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. But now in the winter, you can give it all day sun. Coming this march, you can begin you styling and wiring.
