Sageretia theezans shohin bonsai tree – bird plum. 12+ years old, evergreen specimen. Outdoors & indoors bonsai tree. Nice tapered trunk with amazing foliages pads. The exact same plant in the picture. 11 from the soil up. Their tiny leaves, vigorous growth and smooth yet flaky bark make this plant an ideal species for shohin bonsai.

In summer, place it in dappled shade with good air circulation. Water everyday during hot climate. Use sharp scissors to trim the foliage to maintain neat shape. Repot every 2 to 3 years in mid-spring as needed. Feed balanced fertilizer during growing season.
