Nice tree, in training for over a year very developed and mature. This tree is being trained for an exposed root style, never seen many jade trained like that so i thought it would be interesting to see what develops. This is a very forgiving tree to work with, great for beginners and indoor growers. Really well done tree, takes time to get a dwarf jade like this, will really impress! Measurements: height: 10″ width: 11″ trunk diameter: 2.5″ nebari (root spread): 4″.
Dwarf jade is an extremely resilient succulent species used widely for bonsai especially indoors. This south african native can grow upwards of 15′ and in age produce some rugged looking trunks. Its succulent nature makes it a difficult task to kill one and it is a great indoor and beginners tree.
Additionally, dwarf jade can be trained into any form easily and are a care free tree to work with.
