Make for awesome bonsai due to their flowers in mid to late winter, rough bark that starts to show at a young age which looks a lot like. Rough oak bark, and small ovate leaves which also show nice autumn. This one was grown from seed and will likely have white flowers. Will probably start to flower in the next two seasons. Has spent the last 3 growing seasons in the ground to develop its 1 caliber trunk.
