This is another shohin japanese black pine out of my fathers collection, he was a poilot for years and visted japan a lot. It is in a hattori stamed hand made tokonme pot that is 6×5 by 2.25 inches tall, it has just an incredible glaze to it, see photos. The tree is 7 inches tall from the soil line and 8 inches wide, it has a 1 5/8 inch trunk at the soil line. It has some of the most majestic movement i have ever seen, it took members choice in my local clubs show in 2009. I have had the tree over 16 years, since my father has given up the hobby. It has been decandled at the right times, wired, pinched back, thined out, and fertilized once a year with a repotting ever 4-5 yearrs.
