Although the bonsai tree was ideal for grafting the branches with Shimpaku foliage, it was decided not to graft the twin trunks in order to maintain its rustic and natural appearance. A few of the trees attributes are two very weathered and sinuous trunks, great taper, excellent branch placement, and outstanding Jin and Shari (Deadwood) that is seen throughout both trees. In my opinion if the proper care is done, this Bonsai should be show ready by this Spring. Complementing the impressive curvy trunk’s as well as the entire composition is an old oval Japanese Bonsai pot (12″x9″x3). S may be will be slightly higher.
