Trident Maple Bonsai T-002. I root grafted 4 trees to the main tree to form a more solid and even wood nebari. They are now fused together solid and the 4 can be trimmed back further. I’d leave all buried for one more year before I began to expose the nebari. You can see the work done in the bare-root picture. This bonsai design is meant to be a formal upright. This will be a fairly large tree. As I recall, I have also done thread grafts through the trunk to create branches at desired locations. Any trunk chop wound is healing well and will create a good taper. Approx Width: 14 x 14. I will do my best to pass along any savings. Most all listed trees are starting to sprout well this year.
