Bonsai Japanese Bonfire maples shohin mame 27yrs fantastic group of 3 trees. This little gem is in a stamped turquoise tokoname pot that is, 8×6 inches by 2.35inch hight. It is just fantastic. The trees are 1 inches from the soil line and are 10 inches wide. It has a massive massive trunk that is 2.5 and the other two are 3/4 of an inch, see photos has just amazing structure ad ramification to it. It is just an amazing piece , achieved from decades of wiring, pinching and trimming. It also has the just amazing colors in the falll ranging from light yellow, dark yellow, deep reds, just very elegant, looking like flames. I started these from seed off of my mother tree. It is awesome starting from seed because you get genetic diversity. This have a supper sharp leaf cut pattern compared other Japanese maples. It has been repotted, trimmed pinched backh and fertilized at all of the apropiate times. I know the new owner will get the same gratification out of this prize tree that I have. Bonsai pack (maples, fig, wisteria, kunzea) 200+ seeds. The perfect bonsai pack. Japanese maple acer palmatum (atropureum). Fast growing in the first few years slowing when mature. The most intense red of all japanese maples and great green summer foliage. A must for anyone growing bonsai. This packet of fresh seeds contains -10 acer palmatum atropureum. Scarlett kunzea (scarlet baxteri). This great australian shrub has brilliant red, oval bottlebrush type flowers with gold tips that occur in spring and summer and are extremely attractive. The leaves are small, soft, fine and an attractive bright green which enhance the beauty of the plant. It’s an open spreading plant which will grow to around 3 metres tall and wide in good conditions and is one of the most floriferous of the kunzea genus. Make an excellent bonsai. This packet contain approx. Kunzea ambigua (bush tick). This is a medium to large shrub reaching up to 3 metres in height but it is quite variable. Some forms have a lower, weeping habit. The leaves are narrow, linear in shape to about 10 mm long. The white, scented flowers are clustered into globular-shaped heads at the ends of the branches and are very profuse and conspicuous. Also make a excellent bonsai. This packet contains approx. Norway maple (acer platanoides). Grown for their magnificent leaf colouring in the autumn, spectacular shape and some for the decorative bark, they make excellent specimen plants for the patio garden in containers especially the norway maples, and in garden landscapes, and as bonsai plants. Packet contains 10 seeds. Red maple (acer rubrum). Deeply lobed with medium to dark green leaves turn to yellow to brilliant red in fall. A wide spreading tree with arching to pendulous branches. Great for the bonsai as they hold brilliant autumn colours for extended periods. Scarlet wisteria (sesbania grandiflora). This small ornamental tree to 10m with a straight trunk produces a mass of large, 3-4 red flowers resembling little birds. Its lower branches create a floral canopy from november to june. Makes a spectacular bonsai. Moreton bay fig (ficus macrophylla). A tall, broad spreading tree when open-grown, densely foliaged with large, shiny, dark green leaves which have a distinctive rusty-brown underside. Small round, edible fruit produced at times through the year but dry and gritty. A suitable coastal tree tolerating salt laden winds and dry, sandy soil and an excellent shade tree for parks, large gardens and open space plantings. Stunted small plants make wonderful bonsai subjects. Packet contains approx 20 seeds. This little guy was potted in it’s super-nice japanese stoneware pot last year in high quality japanese soil mix. It is partially wired and should be an absolute joy to watch leaf out. These little trees can have some spectacular fall foliage too!
