Ahorn (Feldahorn, Acer campestris). Das Lieblingskind der Bonsaibegeisterten unter den Laubbäumen ist oft als Bonsai anzutreffen. Farbe sowie die Rinde machen ihn beliebt. Der Ahorn hier ist seit vielen Jahren in der Schale, hat einen eleganten Stamm und sehr viel Reife. Die Krone ist ausgewogen, und die Gestaltung ist ohne “Vergewaltigung” in vielen. Nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Dreispitzahorn, der hier ist ja zuhause…. Sehr gute unterirdische Arbeit, keine Verrotung, keine Staunässe. Anpassung an die neue Schale gar kein Problem. This amazing tree goes through a wide spectrum of beautiful color changes. In the early spring, shiraname leaves out in red and then changes into a brownish-yellow tone through summer. The new growth continues to have red over yellow undertones which make for a truly amazing contrast. The fall color for shiraname ranges from peach to bright orange.
