This pot was painted by Kutani Aritomo. He’s a modern day award winning, mid 30’s age, pot painter. He makes a limited run of pots each year and his brush strokes are delicate and very fine. I love his work and many appreciate it all around the world. This is a really unique motif. Unlike many traditional painted Japanese pots.
