This pot was made by the Yamaaki founder who passed away in 1990. His handmade pots like this one are quite sought after by bonsai enthusiasts around the world. This is a nice old pot. Watering – Water when soil begins to dry but don’t allow it to completely dry out. Its advised to keep azaleas in moist soil but they should never remain constantly wet. Feeding – Fertilize once a month, except during winter. Pruning – Azaleas can take strong pruning. Pruning more on lower branches than on top is recommended as the lower branches are dominant.
