This pot is made by Senkoen, a long time tokoname kiln. Its a nice pot and is in great shape. You will Notice some lines on the inside corners of the pot, those are not cracks but what happens sometimes when a pot has a slip on it then fired. Rings like a bell. The bottom of the pot someone wrote. In 1973 Septembe 23rd. 28th National sports festival. They support Gunma team. So that means the pot was made on or before 1973. I have no idea why there is writing about soccer on the bottom, your guess is as good as mine. But its kinda neat and adds some history and provenance to it. Stand(s) not included.
