Features – This is a nice field grown trident maple. This tree has a very straight trunk line. The tree has many branches, but if they can be cut off and new branches can be formed. The top of the tree can be worked on by carving and rounding the blunt cut. Then a branch at the top would be allowed to grow uncontrolled to heal the cut. This tree would make a nice shohin size bonsai. A shohin size tree is a tree that is 20 centimeters or approximately 8 inches in height. It has been raining here off and on for several weeks. The tree is trying to push growth, but the weather has been colder with the rains.
