Up for your consideration is a Brazilian Rain Tree Bonsai. This tree is a fantastic little specimen with awesome nebari. It has new growth after being de-leafed for spring/summer. These trees are great show specimens. They are known for their leaves which close in the rain. It’s a really fast grower as well. It does produce some pretty big thorns, but this one has had them removed, and when working on them I usually keep them constantly cut off so as to avoid getting poked. They must be protected from frost and freezing weather. A very hardy species with lots of cool character. It’s in a plastic bonsai pot and ready for a new home.
