It is one of the best shown bloodgood japanese maples I have ever seen, it truly takes my breath away every time i see it. I have owned it for 41years and have enjoyed working on it and viewing it. As can be seen the structure is amazing , achieve from decades of wiring, pinching and trimming. It also has the just amazing colors in the falll ranging from light yellow, to dark yellow, just very elegant. This blood good put out seeds every year and has been my mother tree for starting seedlings. It has been repotted, trimmed pinched backh and fertilized at all of the apropiate times. I know the new owner will get the same gratification out of this prize tree that I have.
