Show Bonsai Tree Five Needle Pine Japanese White Pine “Miyajima-goyo” 100yrs+old. This show ready hi end bonsai tree is just remarkable. I have owned it for 17 years and before that it belonged to my father who brought it back from Japan in the 70’s, when he was in service. It is in a stamped tokoname pot that is 12×9.5 inches by 5 inches hight. It stands 17 high and 15inches wide. It has just a massive trunk with root at the soil line that is 4 wide. I have showed it twice and took members choice award on it and honorable mention. My father has shown this tree as well, in all three clubs here in Sacramento, American bonsai club, bonsai siakuki, and the Sacramento bonsai club. I do not have an exact age on it, but my father was told it was 80 years plus when he brought it back from Japan, so it is now well over 100 + years old. It has been wired, fertilized, repotted, and decandled all at appropriate times.
